Yohandra is a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a PhD in Teaching. Following her certification, she dedicated herself to behavior analysis services for individuals with developmental disabilities — work that quickly revealed a gap in support for the practitioners delivering those services.
In 2012 she founded ABA of Miami to serve children with developmental disabilities. Recognizing the parallel need for professional development, she later established Thalamus Professional Learning Center — now ABA Professional Learning Center — to support clinicians at every stage of certification.
Today, ABA PLC operates out of Hialeah, Florida, serving a bilingual community of RBTs, BCaBA®s, and BCBA®s across the United States and Latin America.
